Carmen Chan was born in Las Vegas and raised in Hong Kong. She moved to California to pursue a career in TV and film production, but ended up uncovering a passion for photography. Pre-quarter life crisis, Carmen decided to switch careers and got her start assisting prominent international fashion photographers including Hedi Slimane, Colette de Barros, and Melissa Rodwell. 

She moved back to Hong Kong in 2011 where she has been blessed with a steady stream of editorial and commercial work with clients including:

She is currently working on a personal project called How I Met Your Style, which has been featured on Vogue Paris and mentioned as one of Teen Vogue Editor, Naomi Nevitt's favorite sites.
